Our Team
Ruta Riley
Ruta is an accomplished international trade and regulatory compliance attorney with over 15 years of in-house and law firm experience, guiding multinationals and startups through strategic trade compliance and risk mitigation in complex cross-border transactions. At One Lex Partners, she specializes in tariffs, customs and import, export controls (ITAR/EAR), OFAC sanctions, federal contracting, anti-corruption (FCPA), anti-boycott, and supply chain compliance, including UFLPA, conflict minerals, and CTPAT security standards. She designs robust compliance programs and represents clients before U.S. agencies like CBP and BIS, ensuring seamless global operations.
Before founding One Lex, Ruta served as Senior Trade Compliance Counsel at Lyft, Inc., leading global trade compliance strategies. She previously held roles as Director of Trade Compliance for the Defense Electronics division at Teledyne Technologies, Inc., and managed trade compliance for E & J Gallo Winery, the world’s largest wine importer and exporter. Her career began at Global Trade Expertise, an international trade law firm. Ruta holds a J.D. and LL.M. in International Business and Trade Law from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and a B.S. in Finance from DePaul University. Licensed by the Supreme Court of Illinois, she practices in New York per 22 NYCRR Part 523.5. Based in New York City, Ruta is fluent in Lithuanian and has working knowledge of Russian.

Tammie G. Krauskopf
We partner with attorneys and consultants of Tammie Goldstein Krauskopf LLC. Tammie has over 30 years of experience helping companies develop strategies to minimize duties and taxes, avoid penalties and build strong compliance programs. She represents large and small companies across a range of industries including consumer products, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and food production.
Prior to forming her own firm, Tammie spent nine years in private practice as counsel at Bryan Cave LLP and special counsel at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. She spent eight years as an attorney with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, both in the Office of the Chief Counsel and in the Office of Regulations and Rulings. Tammie was also a senior manager at Deloitte where she developed the international trade practice for the Chicago office. As an adjunct professor at The John Marshall Law School, Tammie taught customs and international trade law courses for 20 years.
Tammie received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh Law School and her Masters in Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs, summa cum laude. She received her undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
Tammie is licensed by the Supreme Court of Illinois.
